Why are there so many slutty evening gowns? I always thought the point was to be classy and elegant, not cheap and clueless. And then we have a model doing a wide-eyed head-tilt and play with hair, thus destroying any chance the poor dress has of standing above its slutty brethren.

……….its wrong that I really love this, isn’t it? I can’t even imagine where you’d wear it, but. Dude. Look at those SLEEVES. *loves*

And then we’re back to cheap and slutty. Folks, if the bottom curve of your breast is visible, if your ensemble looks like something from the Frederick’s catalog in the 80’s, it the word mesh is involved in any way — IT IS NOT AN EVENING GOWN. Its just lingerie with a really long skirt.

According to Blogger, this is my 853rd post. That seems strange, somehow.

I made cupcakes the other day, using the recipe on the Hershey’s cocoa powder box. They are moist and chocolatey, and I am very happy with them.

I hate it when I find myself sleeping in random blocks of about five hours. I never feel rested, and then I feel stupid for wanting to go to bed when I haven’t been up that long.

Still attempting to get Glory the CD. Our MB-logo bracelets are here, and they look nice, I think. I should scan them for her. I haven’t really told her about the CD, just the bracelets. I might get her a Timbertrick one, too. We’ll see how my money goes.

I miss Mel, and my Sunny.

You’re an Etch-a-Sketch!! You’re the creative,
artsy type who doesn’t need to actually
utilize a single muscle group in order to
have fun. Doesn’t matter though, you’re still
cool.

We have snow to the top of the rose garden walls. I’d be just as happy if that was the last snow we got for the winter. Not there’s all that much winter left, really, but yes.

I have a yen for cupcakes, and I don’t know why.

I’m trying to get a copy of Buble’s Valentine’s CD for Glory, because there’s no Hallmark stores in Australia, and their exchange rate is just horrible. I could just go to the store and get another one, but I’m lazy, and I don’t really need another three cards, so eBay it is. (Okay, yes, I could just use their online store, but I would really rather just use my Paypal credit than charge it, y’know?)

Been decopage-ing lately. I like it. I’m not sure why, man, its glue and tissue paper, and that doesn’t exactly say fun, but I like doing it. I just like making things, I think. I like even more that these are actually finishable things.

I wonder if we have any easy recipes for cupcakes….

So, I’m checking out the horror DVDs at MySony, and come across Hollow Man. For a split second, I’m thinking, “That’s not really horror….”

And then I remember Kevin Bacon’s burnt, skinless penis flopping around.

Yeah. TOTALLY horror.

BLUE

BLUES are motivated by INTIMACY, seek opportunities to genuinely connect with others, and need to be appreciated. They do everything with quality and are devoted and loyal friends and employers/employees. Whatever or whomever they commit to are their sole (and soul) focus. They love to serve and will give freely of themselves in order to nurture others lives.

BLUES, however, do need to be understood. They have distinct preferences and occasionally the somewhat controlling (but always fair) personality of a confident leader. Their code of ethics is remarkably strong and they expect others to live honest, committed lives as well. They enjoy sharing meaningful moments in conversation as well as remembering special life events (i.e., birthdays and anniversaries). BLUES are dependable, thoughtful, nurturing, and can also be self-righteous, a bit worry-prone, and emotionally intense. They are like sainted pit-bulls who never let go of something once they are committed. When you deal with a BLUE, be sincere, make an effort to truly understand them, and truly appreciate them.
