At Borders the other day, I passed their Alexander the Great display, and apparently ol' Alex was Nick Carter. Seriously, the cover of this one book -- called, oh-so-imaginatively, "Alexander the Great" -- had a close-up of the face of this AtG statue, and it was like somebody had run a photo of Nick thru a stone filter or something. My initial reaction was, "Hey, I have that picture of Nick...." And I think I do. Down to the expression and angle, even.
Guess Jane's been at this whole cloning thing longer than we thought.
In other news, I so totally called this. Not here, exactly, but OMG! because she's Heaven!Britney! Only, y'know, passed through a stupid, I-like-greasy-trashy-losers filter. Nonetheless.
I entered an icon challenge for the first time last week, and I didn't win or anything, that's not where this is going. I knew I wouldn't, for all this one corner of my brain kept spazzing and shouting, "but IF!" But I got votes. People actually liked it. And that's just the coolest thing ever.

Ordered some pants from Lane Bryant, cause we had a coupon, and I thought it would be nice to have pants that weren't jeans or my crappy loungey track-pants things. Also? Brushed twill. Mmmmmmmm.
Hopefully I will not have the problem I had with the last two pairs I ordered, where, despite being the same size as the jeans I've been traipsing around in, they violently didn't fit in about eight different ways.
Yeah. I don't even know, man.

Finally added my Jetta skin to skin me..., for anytone who likes to see a cap before they download, or just really likes my senseless ramblings on each skin. Sometimes they're funny, I admit. Mostly, not.
The salt guy actually did arrive yesterday, sometimes after 2pm. Which would've been okay, I suppose, had the filter company actually, y'know, said "he'll be there in the afternoon" and not "yeah, so, sometime the seventh, okay?" Bastids.
On the upside, as soon as he left, we left for Perkins, and I had a Honey Mustard Chicken Crunch Salad, and itissogood and I ate it aaaaaaaaaaall. Except the peppers, because ew.
And then there was Borders, and more Pratchett novels, and we say, YAY!
I'm debating going back to bed. Sunny's asleep, and Glory's on the road to her mom's, and Mel's almost never around, and my head hurts, and I have to go to the food store later.
On the upside? There's an Aja fanlisting. hee!

Know what's fun?
.....no, neither do I. But I do know it doesn't involve waiting all day for the water filter guy to arrive with salt. Ugh.
I just wanna go get something to eat, man. And maybe get some self-lamenating sheets to make some bookmarks. And okay, a part of me wants to stop at Border's and see if they still have a copy of Monstrous Regiment, cause lord, I am tearing through GP, but I will be perfectly happy with just being able to go get something to eat. Seriously, I'm feeling ill, here.
Maybe I'll go and check the mail. That should waste a whole five minutes.

If anyone's interested, I've done a Jetta skin. Yes, as in "Jetta of The Misfits." As in, "Jem & the Holograms." I uploaded it, but I haven't added it to skin me... just yet because, um. Mostly I just don't feel like it. *shrugs*
I might do Kimber. I'm not sure. I have a base for it, and the colors are good, but the picture I used was a lot smaller and of lower quality than Jetta's, so I'm not really feeling it. Course, I'm not really feeling much of anything besides headachey....
