Watched Enemy at the Gates with my mom tonight. I’m sure it could have been better, or more realistic, or something…I mean, let’s face it, most of the Russians had British accents, and the primary German character was played by an American, so that killed the accuracy levels right there.

Still, tho, I enjoyed it, and I’m reasonably sure it was for more than just the simple joy of watching Jude Law running around and proving that there are still Actors among the young actors. His character is just all kinds of lovable, and with a single exception, everyone who you makes you go, “Oh, I hope something bad happens to you!” actually does get theirs, and it was nice to know that while Joseph Fiennes may have missed out on whatever genes make his brother so lickworthy, he did get a fair share of the family’s talent genes.

And I’m so going to get murdered for that remark…perhaps I should hide now, ne? Right, then. *flees*
