So, I’ve had Sims Deluxe for a while, but never really installed it, primarily because Poofu is rather old and runs slower that a very slow thing in slo-mo, and Expi is, well, technically not mine. Kasumi, however, is very much mine, and only mine, and yes I did install it, however did you guess? Its fun. And addicting. And I mostly want the othe expansion packs so I can have more selection in items and whatnot. And so that the Halliwells can actually be witches. hee! Yeah, I have a Halliwell house. And a Spears house. Britney and JL only, thank you. I’m trying to get Prue and Brit to fall in love. Its slow going. Prue even tried employing the Genie of the Lamp, Brit just got mad at her for not wooing her herself. Which reminds me, I want to see if anybody ever documented the different career ladders online. I’m sure someone has, somewhere. Its just a matter of finding it. Also? Backstreet, yo. eeeeeeeeeeeeee!

Gorgeous out. Ran some errands. Currently trying to ignore the growing pressure in my face. On the upside – there’s Panera for later. On the downside – period. Ugh. In other news, there’s Scar plushie which is both disturbing and adorable and I kind of want it. Probably not enough to actually buy it, but that’s fine. I can waste my Paypal credit on other things. YAY! Finally heard back from the putz who won one of my Animericas, and got some babble about how someone got into their SN and bought a bunch of stuff and now they’re getting all this bad feedback and they’re so sorry and “OMG PLZ HLEP!!!!!!!” only with more exclamation points. To which I say, “YOU COULDN’T HAVE SAID SOMETHING SOONER?!” And then apply for my final bid value back. Because, hey, if its true, then my sympathies, but the point of fact is, I. Don’t. Know. And I’m not paying the fee for money I’m not even getting, and I do not have the patience to teach you how to protect your account or communicate like you possess even half a brain cell. Sorry. And I’m sure karma will come and bite me in the ass for this, but I know my limits, and hon? You’re about seven paces past them. *sighs* I feel so drained just for having typed about that. Bleh. Lalalalala. Having a stupid moment. Ugh. I tend to make my requests at i-Squad with copy-and-paste from a handy-dandy text file, mostly ’cause I’m too lazy to type out “Please play _____ by ______” 5951328434184438343 times. Every once in a while it bites me in the ass, tho, and I’m too tired or distracted or just plain stupid and wind up pasting something else into the request box and god knows how many times I send that before I actually realize it. Yeah. Take a wild guess what I just did. *headdesk* *sighs* Anyway. We watched AvP earlier. Personally, I liked it. I don’t think it was terribly good, but anyone who went in expecting amazing acting and Oscar-worthy material is clearly on some high-quality drugs and needs to be sharing that shit with the rest of us. It was cool, it had shout-outs to the fans, it had interspecies love, what more can you ask for? ………except, y’know, maybe some Scar/Alexa fic. *hides*

In case I do decide to get samples from bpal, I’m gonna list the scents that interest me here…so that hopefully, I’ll at least be able to find said list. *rolls eyes* DRAGON’S BONE Of course, samplers are $3 a pop, or six for $16, so, obviously, I’d have to narrow it down for the good rate. No idea how I’d really pick what. Except, y’know, Bliss. Because anything that smells like milk chocolate is pretty much a necessity.

Watched Girl with a Pearl Earring earlier with the mother unit. Not entirely sure why. Its was a very odd, quiet film. We agreed that the book must either be the most boring read EVER…or have a lot of depth and insight into the girl. Because. Odd and quiet and not making the most sense. Yes. Currently reading some reviews of bpal scents on LJ. I’m not entirely sure why, because I’m not exactly a scent-wearer, and everyone’s chemistry will react differently to the oils, but I am intrigued, and I’d really rather hear an actual person’s thoughts and reactions to the scents than the artsy mysterious crap bpal uses as their “lab description.” Kasumi’s sitting on the desk behind me, recharging her battery, and I’m highly tempted to turn her on and see if I can’t get her to dial in via the primary line, so I can finish up a few things on her and still talk to the Glorything on here. Sometimes we can use both phone lines for ‘net stuff, and sometimes the house line will just look at us coolly and ask what the fuck we’re trying to pull. Billy Idol’s new album came out yesterday. I want it a lot. Oh, and my Angel puppet is supposed to ship this week! I’m very excited. Angel-puppet and Kasumi are my birthday presents this year. Very early, yes, but on the other hand, it means that if I want to cry and hide and sleep away my actual birthday this year, I can. Which may in fact be the best gift of all. Must remember to try and save images for icon challenges under their due dates. That way I might actually do some again. Plus, I’ll know if I totally missed the bus and should just delete it. *nods* ……I think the cat just fell off something. Dumbass.
