I'd originally had a dim idea based on the Gone video, but then I saw this nummy shot from Teen People, and the rest is history. I kept the Gone lyrics for the title and image alt, tho. ^^

EXPANSION : If I was one of The Endless, I would unarguably be Despair. But Death has always been my favorite, and I have enough problems without decorating my pages with my own personal avatar. The title came from doing a search for "death the endless" on Google. It was the first listing on page four of the results, and went here.

Its like he's seeing god, or love, or...Howie. *snerk* Unfortunately, you can't make out the lyrics in the background of the post frame in the cap, but the song, if you're curious, is "Light in Your Eyes" by Blessed Union of Souls. EXPANSION : Its funny, the caps manage to both pick up and completely lose certain effects that I did to the background image. Despite a much more "me" color scheme and the fact that I adore that image (and really, every shot from Beebee's Italian Vogue), I don't like it nearly as much as the previous layout. And I keep thinking its too down, which...considering that was what I was shooting for, I should really be much happier about it.

EXPANSION : I'm kind of amused by this, because I have no interest in the Narnia movie. I dimly recall picking up a copy of LW&W when I was younger, and that's it. I can't even remember reading it. But the trailer's nice the way a new penny is, and interesting for about as long. And I really, really liked this image of. Um. Lucy? Susan? Whatever. I liked it. I used it. Its also my first layout that is good at both 1024 and 1280, because i just love my widescreen laptop that fucking much.

EXPANSION : I had originally been trying to do something with nekkid!Christina, but she refused to co-operate, and really, who needs X when you've got Shan-sama looking breezy and peaceful and perfect? I toned down the colors, and added in some amped up blues, and draped it all in dreamy softness...and then spent way, way too long trying to get the text to work. But I think I'm pretty happy with it.

EXPANSION : I've long had a thing for SUPERCHIC[K]'s "One Girl Revolution," and lately I've been indulging my crush on Anna Popplewell and movie!Susan (who could kick book!Susan's ass without breaking a sweat) and, um. This happened. It almost didn't, because it was really designed for precisely the way things sit on Dean, and no other computer, and even on him it's a little left-heavy. But once I had the image there and those words just so, any attempt to change or add anything just made me really unhappy with it. So finally I just did a transparent layer of the song's lyrics and decided that was good enough. I really probably should've called it "Fuck you, its my blog, it'll look how I want!" But that's awfully misanthropic even for me.

EXPANSION : So...this is less my baby and more my tweaking of someone else's baby. This is what happens when Blogger becomes a whirlpool of suck, and you make the switch to WordPress, and hope you can remember how to think and figure things out on your own. Hopefully things will get better.
