Skin: joined the tumbling mirth
Featuring: Kaori Mochida, of Every Little Thing
Comments: I love ELT; they're possibly my favorite j-pop band, and a large part of it is due to Kaori's voice. Its just so gorgeous and full. It doesn't hurt that the songs themselves are equally beautiful, though, or that Kaori is absolutely adorable. ^^

The title comes from the poem "High Flight" by John Magee...which, sickly, I was only exposed to because of my addiction to Highlander slash. *sighs* I really have no soul at all.

Skin: everything turns into beauty
Featuring: Yoshiki, of X Japan
Comments: I'm not real big on X Japan's usual hard rock fare, which is kind of funny considering that the title of the skin came from exactly such a song, "Silent Jealousy."

I do, however, adore their ballads, beautiful and moving pieces written by Yoshiki, who, in addition to being their song writer, is also their pianist and drummer, and, as you can see, beautiful and moving in his own right.

Skin: Where You Go When You're Gone
Featuring: Michelle Branch
Comments: Kind of a different style on this one, with the lines, and the overlays, and its...a little 3D-esque. Which is not a word, but we move on.

This, um. Might actually be neat. *blinks repeatedly* Its gotta be the Michelle. Cause gods know I have no talent of my own....

Includes matching playlist.

Skin: Late at Night I Talk to You
Featuring: Justin Timberlake
Comments: Blame Megs, cause she led me to the pic. And Des, for asking to see the in-progress skin and then coming up with the neat ladder edging. But mostly, blame Justin for looking so fucking much like Orlando Bloom in this shot.

Yes, alright, Orli as possessed by Corey Feldman, but the point is.

Font is Whimsy ICG. Title is from Justin's first! ever! solo! single! Fuck me raw. He's evil and I hate him and that song has the best goddamn hook "boop" thing ever.

Skin: Baby, Don't You Wanna...?
Featuring: Britney Spears' Stomach
Comments: Oh, stop looking at me like that. You know you want to download it.

Skin: The Name of the Rose
Featuring: Britney Spears
Comments: I, um. I...well, y'know, the design isn't too bad, and the playlist? The playlist is cool, man, you can't tell me it isn't. That shit is shibby. And um. Its...yeah, okay, its Britney, but um. It...oh, just shut up.
