Ha! There’s a review on B&N of “Pop,” all “don’t believe what you’ve heard,” and “if you’ve avoided this album because of what you’ve ‘heard’ you’re a slave to the ‘press!'” Which, A) way to abuse (and misuse) the quote marks there, son, and B) no, whatever they’ve heard to its detriment, they need to believe that shit. I love U2, and I own “Pop,” and I don’t recall ever reading anything about it, and that album is a pile of crap. There’s like, 2 decent songs on it, and even they are below the usual standard.

Don’t get me wrong, I totally understand wanting or needing to try something different, and hey, with as long as they’ve all been together and making music, I say they can pretty much do whatever they want, and god bless ’em. Its still bird poo. Sorry.

You made me grin and snicker, though, so whoever you are, anonymous B&N reviewer, I thank you. Rock on with your crap, pretentious self. *salutes*
